Cody was born in Moscow and grew up in Pullman. He practices in Washington and Idaho. His practice areas include  Real Estate, Business and Employment, Landlord/Tenant issues, Collections, and civil litigation. Cody is actively engaged in the local and legal communities, serving in the General Membership for Gritman Medical Center Community Board, as former President of the Board of Directors for the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center and former President of the Ray McNichols Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Prior to becoming an attorney, . Cody worked in media relations for the nation's top food safety law firm in Seattle and served two terms of public service in Americorps, managing a non-profit organization in Spokane dedicated to home rehabilitation for seniors, veterans, and families in need.
