
Cody was born in Moscow and grew up in Pullman. He practices in Washington and Idaho. His practice is focused on business, real estate, and civil litigation in areas handled by the firm. Cody is actively engaged in the local and legal communities, serving as the Idaho Second District Bar Assoication Vice President, as an anjunct instructor of Negotiation at the University of Idaho College of Law, the General Membership for Gritman Medical Center Community Board, as former President of the Board of Directors for the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center and former President of the Ray McNichols Chapter of the American Inns of Court. Prior to becoming an attorney, Cody worked in media relations for Marler Clark, the nation's top food safety law firm and served two terms of public service in Americorps, where he managed a non-profit organization in Spokane dedicated to home rehabilitation for seniors, veterans, and families in need.
